It was reported yesterday by Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda that WWE was planning on making the Bray Wyatt Fiend character more family friendly due to fears that it might be too scary.
The story was shared all over social media and eventually caught the attention of Bray Wyatt himself, who had this to say:
Stop spreading this propaganda. And fire your informants. pic.twitter.com/GxFDM2jtnS

The Fiend made its first appearance since SummerSlam on last night’s Raw, continuing its streak of attacking WWE Hall of Famers. His victim this time was Jerry Lawler, and it seems as though Bray’s next opponent will be decided in the coming weeks.
There was no suggestion in last night’s appearance that anything had changed. He didn’t have his severed head lantern with him, but it’s likely that the lantern will only be part of his entrance for actual matches.
