Bray Wyatt is scheduled to take on Finn Balor as “The Fiend” this Sunday at SummerSlam. However, the former WWE Champion decided to focus on former Raw General Manager Kurt Angle this week on Raw.
Just as he did to fellow WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley last month at Raw Reunion, “The Fiend” attacked Kurt Angle with the Mandible Claw.
Kurt Angle was acting as the special guest referee for a match between Drew McIntyre and Cedric Alexander. Wyatt’s attack on the former Olympian seemed strange, with no real storyline reason being provided for the assault.
However, Bray Wyatt has since taken to Twitter to explain why he attacked Angle
Dear @RealKurtAngle,
As a young man I idolized you.
Today is no different.
I hope you can understand.
I’m sorry for what I have done.
I wish you knew how much.
This time it all has to be perfect.
Revenge is a confession

In the post, Wyatt explains that he idolized Kurt as a young man, and still does. He even apologised for what he did, but said that “this time it all has to be perfect. Revenge is a confession”.
While it is hard to make out exactly what Wyatt is really getting at here, but I am very intrigued to see where WWE goes with this, and who Bray will attack next.
