A new champion means a new title belt, but perhaps it’s a little less new than many were hoping for. Bray Wyatt showed off his “new” Universal Championship belt on WWE Backstage last night, and it wasn’t exactly a big change.
Many were expecting a complete redesign of the belt, perhaps with some fiendish patterning or darker colours, but instead he just changed the side plates, like a total fiend.
This is something that every single champion does, so I can’t pretend I’m not a little bit disappointed.

Wyatt has continued to have dark matches with Seth Rollins after Raw, and it seems that we could well be in for yet another PPV match between the two.
Fightful reported that plans were in place for a double turn for Rollins and Wyatt and that this could happen during their next match.
Rollins and WWE, through one avenue or another, have made him one of the most unlikable people in wrestling, and this would lend itself perfectly to a heel character. The crowd already loves to boo him, so why not give them what they want?
