At IMPACT Hard To Kill, an AEW star has announced their departure from the company.
Following the Motor City Machine Guns successfully retaining the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles in a four way match, AEW star Frankie Kazarian came out to congratulate them and head to the ring for a promo.
Once in the ring, Kazarian reflected on the past few months with him winning the X-Division Championship last October and then challenging Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Title the following month at Over Drive.
Frankie said that once he returned back to All Elite Wrestling, he felt like all he saw around him were strangers and things didn’t feel the same.
Kazarian said that he had a big decision to make and he decided to bet on himself.
The former AEW World Tag Team Champion stated that he has signed a long-term contract with IMPACT Wrestling.
This would seem to indicate Frankie Kazarian has officially left AEW to sign with IMPACT after nearly four years with the promotion.
UPDATE – A new report has confirmed Kazarian requested, and was granted, his release from AEW. Read more at this link.
We will have further updates and breaking news from tonight’s Hard To Kill event when they become available.
