BREAKING – Big Cass INJURED at WWE Live Event!?

UPDATE, 05/19 7:07 PM EST: Wrestlinginc.com is now reporting that Cass’ injury is a storyline one, and he is simply ‘selling’ Daniel Bryan’s attack that occurred this Tuesday on SmackDown Live. They note that he has been doing the same in all his matches since then.

Original Story:

At a WWE Live Event in Amsterdam earlier today, it seems Big Cass has picked up another injury after returning from a nine-month spell on the sidelines just last month.

A fan in attendance at the event tweeted out the following videos:

Another fan in attendance at the event, Chris Carter, wrote in to NoDQ.com with the following statement:

“Cass looked like he injured his left knee a few minutes ago. Match turned awkward (tag match with The Miz vs Daniel Bryan and Tye Dillinger) after the beginning. Cass looked legit super upset and p***ed off. Ref took him backstage after match through side entrance, not the ramp. Sure hope it’s either kayfabe or nothing much.”

Big Cass returned to WWE following an injury the night after SummerSlam 2017, on the Superstar Shake-up edition of SmackDown Live in April.

His first pay-per-view match back also happened to be Daniel Bryan’s first one-on-one pay-per-view match after he was cleared earlier this year, after years out, as the two went toe-to-toe at Backlash 2018.

Cass lost that match but is scheduled to face Samoa Joe on this coming Tuesday’s edition of SmackDown Live, with the winner qualifying for the final spot in the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 17th.

The severity of the injury is unclear at this time, and we here at WrestleTalk wish Cass all the best if it does turn out to be serious. We will keep you updated as further information becomes available.
