WrestleMania To Take Place At The WWE Performance Center

WWE has confirmed that WrestleMania will be taking place at the WWE Performance Center. The City of Tampa went live with an announcement at 7pm EST announcing they would be canceling all events with large groups and would be limiting restaurants to half capacity.

Ryan Satin broke the news via Twitter. Here is the announcement from WWE:

“In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.”

According to the WWE announcement, only essential personnel will be on the closed set. This is such a huge announcement.

It will be so odd to see such a major show with no fans. What a world we are living in this year.
