Yahoo Japan in Japan is reporting that top international star Meiko Satomura has agreed to sign with WWE, where she will serve a “coach and player”.
It emerged last year but Meiko Satomura was likely heading to WWE on a full-time basis, but now we know that the Japanese star has signed a contract with Vince McMahon’s company:
It was revealed on the 28th that Meiko Satomura (41) of Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling (Senjo) has signed a contract with WWE, the world’s largest professional wrestling organization, as a coach and player.
The report notes that Meiko Satomura will be working with the NXT UK brand as a trainer and wrestler, which is a big coup for the brand:
She is currently participating in WWE UK and will be staying in London, where the organization’s training center is located.
The news has not yet been confirmed by WWE, but with a big episode of NXT UK slated to be broadcast on the WWE Network, could we be just a few hours away from seeing Meiko Satomura in a WWE ring once again?
