Ahead of his return in Calgary, a new report has revealed the real reason for WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart appearing on WWE Raw.
WWE (via Jackie Redmond) announced that former multi-time WWE Champion Bret Hart will make his return in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on the September 9 edition of Raw.
This Monday’s show will serve as the “Season Premiere” episode and kick off “WWE week” on the USA Network with all three main weekly TV shows on the channel.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Dave Meltzer reported that part of the reason for Bret Hart’s appearance is because it will be his last appearance at the Saddledome for a wrestling show.
It will be his last appearance because the legendary arena is being torn down. The building has been the site of most WWE shows in that market for decades.
A new report has also revealed possible plans for Bret Hart on Monday Night Raw, which you can read here.
There has been no official confirmation from on exactly what Hart will be doing on tonight’s Raw episode from Calgary at the time of this writing.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Bret Hart appearing on WWE Raw when they become available.
