Following Nikki Bella’s return at the WWE Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, Brie Bella has addressed a possible in-ring return.
Nikki Bella’s WWE return marks her second Royal Rumble since retiring in 2019, going on to be inducted with Brie into the Hall of Fame in 2020.
At the Los Angeles Premiere of the Queen of the Ring movie, Denise Salcedo asked Brie Bella about the possibility of returning to WWE.
Having previously described the wrestling ring as “our home“, Brie Bella would reveal her thoughts on what is happening in WWE and AEW with women’s wrestling.
Clearly excited at the prospect of stepping into the ring with the current crop of female talent, Brie Bella responded to considering a possible return, saying:
“Oh yes, always! But you know, what the women are doing today in both AEW and WWE gets me wanting to get out there.
“It’s incredible to be a fan of pro-wrestling today. But definitely when I saw her I was like ‘Wait, it’s not complete if I’m not there.'”

The 2025 WWE Royal Rumble wasn’t the only one to get a bit of Bella action, with Nikki and Brie also featuring in the titular women’s match in 2022.
The Bella Twins last teamed in WWE with Ronda Rousey back in October 2018, defeating The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott & Sarah Logan) on Raw.
Nikki would continue through to November 2018 as a singles competitor on house shows with her last televised appearance being at WWE Evolution on October 28, 2018.
It was recently reported that WWE had tentative plans to run a second women-only Evolution PLE in July 2025.
