With Brie Bella’s much-anticipated WWE return in the record books, the Hall of Famer has revealed a last-minute Royal Rumble addition.
Brie Bella returned at the WWE Royal Rumble Riyadh on January 31 during the titular women’s match, reuniting with her twin sister, Nikki Bella.
During a recent appearance on Crico Kidd Block Party, Brie would reveal a late decision to include a specific move as part of her offense in the match.
With the Yes kicks being part of her onslaught in the women’s Royal Rumble match, Brie commented on the reception she received at the Riyadh Premium Live Event, saying:
“It was way louder than I expected. I didn’t know if Saudi Arabia would know who I was.
“Honestly, I’ve been out of it for a minute, and when I fully retired, we hadn’t been wrestling over there yet.
“Granted, they could see it on television, but it was different. I was kind of really nervous that my music was going to hit and it was going to be crickets, I’ll be honest.”

She would then reveal that the decision to use the “Yes kicks” was something made on the day of the show itself, mere hours before she was seen in a WWE ring for the first time in four years, stating:
“Truly, I wasn’t going to do the Yes kicks, until about a couple hours before the show, but I only was going to do it if the crowd was going to come. I’m like, I’m not doing Yes kicks if no one’s chanting, do you know what I mean?
“There was a lot of stuff in my head going on where I just was very stressed out, especially because I was really the only surprise. I mean, Tiffany (Stratton) came back, and that was incredible, but a surprise that people weren’t expecting. It was a lot of pressure, a lot.”
