What Britt Baker Has To Say About The Rest Of The AEW Women’s Division AEW

In a recent interview Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. spoke on far more AEW stars than just Thunder Rosa. Find out what else she said!

In an appearance on Swerve Strickland‘s SwerveCity Podcast. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. didn’t just speak on Thunder Rosa, she mentioned plenty of others from the AEW Women’s locker room as well!

Despite the main buzzworthy clips springing forth from the appearance being related to Baker working through injury (which out of context seemed to some as a direct shot at Thunder Rosa) there was actually much more to this over an hour long interview.

In discussing her peers in the AEW Women’s division, Baker had thoughts on Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, Anna Jay and recent signee, Willow Nightingale.

Baker first praised Kris Statlander, and also a noted pal saying:

“Stat is such a superstar and it’s these injuries that are driving everybody insane. Obviously her, it’s heartbreaking for her but for all of us, it’s like, she is it. She’s such a rockstar, she’s a superstar.

“Same thing, Jamie Hayter. She just got a later start on TV than the rest of us but that’s dumb, she’s a rockstar. She’s a rockstar, that’s my main girl.”

Britt went on to talk about her admiration for the hard work that Anna Jay A.S. has put in to improve, saying:

“Anna Jay, who is literally a baby, has been learning professional wrestling matches on live TV basically, she’s so inexperienced but still: she’s a star. And she’s improving so insanely fast.

“She’s so hungry to learn, she’s got not an attitude. She walks out with Chris Jericho now, for some people, that might get to your head and go ‘oh well I don’t need to keep working,’ she always wants to work, wants to learn. I have nothing but respect for Anna Jay.”

When Swerve mentioned wanting to shout out Willow Nightingale, Baker responded:

“Oh my God, Willow. I’m obsessed with her. She’s my favorite person to watch in wrestling right now.”

“I’m actually envious of Willow because when I watch her, just so early on in TV wrestling, she knows who she is.

“She knows who Willow Nightingale is and for me, that was so hard for me at first. Figuring out who I was and what was going to click with myself, what was going to feel authentic. She’s got it. And she’s been on TV how many times? [Swerve responds, ‘Maybe two handfuls?’] That’s so impressive to me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Baker discussed real life partner Adam Cole who remains out of action with injury receiving undue vitriol online.
