Britt Baker Explains Why Her & Adam Cole Aren’t On AEW Television Together AEW

When Adam Cole first came over to AEW back at All Out, many fans were waiting to see if or when he would join up with his real-life girlfriend Britt Baker on AEW television.

The duo came together for a mixed tag match against Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander earlier this year, but haven’t interacted on screen since that match.

Baker recently spoke to Forbes ahead of Double or Nothing, where she was asked about why her and Cole aren’t an act together on AEW television, to which Britt claimed that they ‘don’t need’ each other.

She said:

“This is probably a little arrogant, but that’s OK because I believe in it. We don’t need each other. We’re at the top of our respective divisions on our own, and I think that’s what really makes a power couple a power couple. You don’t have to say you’re a power couple. You just are.”

“We don’t have to shove it down people’s throats. People know we’re a couple, but we don’t need each other in the ring and on camera to be relevant. I’m a rock star on my own. He’s a rock star on his own, and if we get to do stuff together, it just makes it that much better.”

Baker also spoke during the interview about how she would ‘love’ to wrestle Sasha Banks.

Cole recently spoke about how his relationship with Baker was a ‘big reason’ that he signed with AEW.
