Britt Baker has provided an update on Adam Cole’s injury status.
Following Double or Nothing in May, it was reported that Cole had been dealing with a torn labrum injury.
Cole returned to the ring at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door for the IWGP World Title fourway bout. During the contest, Cole reportedly suffered a concussion that was believed to be ‘very serious‘.
Speaking with Sportskeeda, Baker stated that Cole is definitely recovering, noting:
Baker said:
“Well, he’s definitely recovering and healing, so I hope just like everybody else, that we get to see him back in the wrestling ring soon, but he definitely has to take some time to recover.”
A number of top AEW names are currently on the shelf with injuries, including AEW World Champion CM Punk, who is recovering from a foot injury. An update has emerged on Punk’s status, which you can read right here.
