Britt Baker Reveals WWE Told Adam Cole Not To Go To AEW Shows

Britt Baker caused a bit of a stir in the wrestling world when she appeared in the crowd at NXT Takeover WarGames last year. No harm was done but it is now clear that WWE was not about to have Adam cole do the same thing.

Britt Baker and Cole are currently dating and Baker revealed on AEW Unrestricted that WWE had told Cole he was not allowed to attend AEW shows. He was going told he wasn’t allowed to attend All In in 2018 but apparently they have changed their tune. Here is the full quote, courtesy of Fightful:

“We’re very lucky that Tony [Khan] has no problem with me going to watch his live shows. As we all know, I was in the crowd at TakeOver when he won the title for the first time. This is also annoying, but he was originally told that he can’t come to our shows.

For All In, he had a plane ticket booked and they told him, ‘You can’t go.’ He still came to be supportive and he watched it on his phone in the hotel room and came to the afterparty. Recently, they changed their tune and he was able to come to our New Year’s show. It’s great for him too because this is his family. The Young Bucks and Adam Cole go way back. They’ve been together long before Adam Cole and Britt Baker were together.”

It was previously reported that Tony Khan is far more open to his talent going to WWE shows. It shouldn’t come as a shock that he isn’t as strict as the 74-year-old Vince McMahon.
