Tonight, on WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns was set to face Finn Balor. This led many to anticipate that we were going to get a program between the two leading to a match at Extreme Rules.
As such, this would mean Roman and Lesnar would have to wait until potentially the Saudi Show. However, it was announced on SmackDown that Lesnar would be returning sooner than that.

Lesnar will be appearing at the Madison Square Garden SmackDown next week. He called Paul Heyman during the show and told him to inform Roman he was coming for him.
Heyman told Reigns and Roman was not thrilled. We’ll have more on WWE’s plans for Lesnar as they become available.
