Brock Lesnar Opens Up About ‘Love/Hate Relationship’ With Vince McMahon

Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon have had an up and down relationship over the years since Brock signed with WWE in 2002.

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Brock compared working with McMahon to his experience working in UFC for Dana White.

When asked about the difference between working for both men, Lesnar answered:

“I don’t know. I really can’t compare the two guys, they’re just so… honestly my relationship with Vince is so different than it is with Dana over the years.

“Vince and I have had a love/hate relationship for the last 20 years, but it’s been good. We’ve got a lot of water under the bridge. I have a lot of respect for both men, but dealing with Dana, it’s just a totally different business approach.”

Brock Lesnar continued on and talked about how learning from Vince McMahon helped him in working with Dana White:

“I met Vince when I was younger, I look at Vince more as a father figure, actually, because I’ve learned a lot of things from him, and I was able to carry those things over and handle business with Dana.”

Lesnar and McMahon have gotten into altercations in the past, most notably Brock throwing the Universal Title at Vince after the WrestleMania 34 main event. The scene was captured by WWE camera for their 24 series.

However, The Beast Incarnate seems to be happier than he has ever been with WWE. Brock Lesnar will challenge for the WWE Title at Elimination Chamber 2022 on February 19 in Saudi Arabia.

Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Riddle, AJ Styles and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will compete in the titular steel structure.
