Brock Lesnar emerged from the Elimination Chamber match last night (February 19) as the WWE Champion, and is set for a ‘Winner Takes All’ match with Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley was removed from the match, which we later learned was due to a legitimate shoulder injury suffered at the Royal Rumble. This led to a moment where Lashley’s pod was called, but he could not enter, so Lesnar kicked in the side of his pod to enter the match instead.
PWInsider have provided more details on the spot, noting that it was not planned, saying:
Brock Lesnar smashed through a legitimate Elimination Chamber door to enter the EC match and we are told that was not a planned spot. That is one scary man.
