Brock Lesnar, flanked by his advocate, Paul Heyman, appeared on WWE Smackdown Live after The New Day defeat The Revival and Randy Orton. Lesnar and Heyman confront Kofi Kingston.
Heyman has come out to inform Kofi Kingston Lesnar will be challenging Kofi Kingston to a WWE Championship Match on the premiere edition of Smackdown Live on Fox on October 4th. Kofi says he’s a fighting champion and accepts Brock Lesnar’s challenge. Lesnar gave him an F-5 to say thanks.

It looks like Randy Orton may have been right about Kofi all along. There’s bravery and there’s stupidity. Kofi should have told him to earn it. However, that’s clearly opposite of what wrestling booking is all about.
It’s been widely reported WWE wants to have a massive show to debut on Fox. It’s also been reported Fox wants a more sports-like show on its network. There’s no one more sports like on WWE’s roster than the former UFC champion, Brock Lesnar. However, I’m sure Fox wants a champion who’s actually going to be around.
