A potential opponent for Brock Lesnar at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2023 premium live event has been revealed.
It is unclear when exactly The Beast will return to action, ahead of a potential match at WrestleMania 39 in April.
Lesnar was reportedly set to wrestle at January’s Day 1 event, before the show was cancelled.
Another report noted that Lesnar is slated to make appearances at the upcoming Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber events in January and February respectively.
On Sony Sports Network’s Namaste Drew show, Drew McIntyre called out Brock Lesnar for a bout at Royal Rumble, noting:
“I’ll take him (at Royal Rumble 2023). I wanna get that extra victory over Brock.
“If Brock and I cross paths again, it’s gonna be a battle.”
McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36, inside an empty arena.
Lesnar last wrestled at the November 5 Crown Jewel premium live event, defeating Bobby Lashley with a controversial pin.
WWE reportedly wants Lesnar to face GUNTHER at WrestleMania 39. You can read more about WWE’s plans for The Beast right here.
