WWE star Bobby Lashley has teased the return of Brock Lesnar, calling The Beast out for a future match.
On WWE The Bump, Lashley issued a challenge to Lesnar for WrestleMania 39.
Believing there’s unfinished business between himself and The Beast, Lashley said:
“We’re in L.A. next year, right, for WrestleMania? If we’re in Hollywood it’s a big matchup. For me, I’ve always had these really tough challenges going into WrestleMania, which, of course this one- it has to be another big one. Me and Brock (Lesnar), we still have a little score to settle. I have a win over him and then he ended up winning my title back but we’re not done. We’re not done,” Lashley said. [42:34 – 43:03]
Lashley and Lesnar notably clashed at Royal Rumble in January, with Lashley walking away with the WWE Championship following interference from Roman Reigns.
The All Mighty was medically eliminated from the Elimination Chamber bout for the gold, before Lesnar picked up the victory, claiming the title back.
Lesnar went on to face Roman Reigns in a WWE vs Universal Title Winner Takes All unification bout at WrestleMania 38, with Reigns ultimately victorious.
WrestleMania 39 will emanate from California’s SoFi Stadium on April 1 & 2, 2023. Following rumors that The Rock will face Roman Reigns during next year’s event, an update has emerged on the People’s Champion’s status for April 2023.
Before then, Lashley will face Omos & MVP in a handicap match at Hell in a Cell. Check out the announced card for the June 5 Premium Live Event right here.
