Brock Lesnar WWE Return Date Revealed? WWE

Here’s an update on plans for Brock Lesnar’s WWE return, following his SummerSlam loss to Roman Reigns.

In the main event of the July 30 premium live event, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

This was Lesnar’s third straight singles defeat to the Tribal Chief, following Reigns’ Universal Title victory at Crown Jewel 2021, and the WWE vs Universal title unification bout at WrestleMania 38.

After the show, Lesnar tipped his hat to the crowd, leading to speculation that The Beast will step away from the ring for good.

Lesnar has been featured prominently on advertising for the WWE Day 1 premium live event, indicating that he’ll be in action on the January 2023 show.

Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Day 1 2023 is the next US show that Lesnar is currently listed for.

Meltzer also revealed that WWE is debating moving the premium live event to another date, noting:

“A decision will be made this week regarding the date of the Day 1 PPV show. Right now the show is scheduled for 1/1 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

“There is talk that it could be changed and the announcement would be made next week if that’s the case, although we were told that either way it would remain at the building.

“Also as of right now, Lesnar is scheduled on that show which is the next U.S. show that he’s being listed for.”

At WWE Day 1 2022, Brock Lesnar won a five-way match to win the WWE Championship.
