Here are details regarding changes made to the plans for the WWE return of Brock Lesnar, which is set to take place on SmackDown tonight.
The current storyline, as we saw play out on last week’s SmackDown, is that Lesnar’s suspension has been lifted, which means he’s able to appear on tonight’s show.
However, this wasn’t the original plan. A number of weeks ago, the Staples Center in Los Angeles advertised that Brock Lesnar had bought a ticket to the December 10 episode of SmackDown (next week).
The idea with that would have been that Lesnar would still be suspended, so buying a ticket as a fan would be the only way he’d be allowed at the show.
Obviously that’s been dropped now, but the Wrestling Observer reports that he is still set to appear on next week’s show on top of this week’s, as well as confirming that the ticket storyline was the original plan.
WrestleTalk.com will of course have live coverage of SmackDown tonight, so stay tuned to see how it all plays out.
