Brock Lesnar WWE Schedule Update

Brock Lesnar WWE Schedule Update

It’s been a running joke for almost two years now that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar never shows up to work, and looking at his upcoming WWE schedule, said jokes are likely to continue into the foreseeable future.

As reported by WrestlingInc, Lesnar is not scheduled to appear on this coming Monday’s Raw, the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next Sunday, or the Fastlane pay-per-view on March 10.

The only current date Lesnar is being advertised for before WrestleMania where he will square off against Royal Rumble winner Seth Rollins is the March 18 edition of Raw. He was previously advertised for both the February 18 and February 25 Raws, but has since been removed.

It is being reported that Rollins will also be taking the next few weeks out of action to recuperate from ongoing back problems, though the ‘Mania match is not said to be under threat due to this.

A lot of fans criticize Lesnar for his lack of appearances, but there’s no denying that a positive product of their rareness is that when he does finally show up, it feels like a big deal.

Talking of big deals (not a bad segue for 1:30am), Dave Meltzer recently reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter than Paul Heyman was negotiating on Lesnar’s behalf with WWE, UFC and AEW, so things could get very, very spicy in the future with regards to where he’ll end up.

Lesnar’s last match was his Universal Title retention over Finn Bálor at the Royal Rumble in January, his first defense since becoming a two-time champion at Crown Jewel.
