Former WWE star Tyrus (Brodus Clay) has revealed the hilarious advice he received from The Undertaker.
The star notably debuted his ‘Funkasaurus’ character in 2012, a gimmick which saw him dance around and enter to ‘Somebody Call My Momma’
On Talk Is Jericho, Tyrus revealed that The Undertaker wasn’t a fan of the character.
Revealing that the Deadman offered him some advice on how to get the character scrapped, Tyrus said:
“Taker never liked it. Taker’s advice to me was, he came up to me. He was like ‘Fall’. (I’m like) ‘What?’ He’s like ‘When you go out there, you debut tonight, fall. You fall on the stage; they’ll scrap the whole thing and you can get back (to being a monster).’ I just loved that. When I said ‘Would you fall?’, he said ‘No’.”
Tyrus was released from his WWE contract in 2014. He is currently the NWA World Television Champion, defeating The Pope to win the gold on the August 6 edition of NWA Extra Power.
He is slated to challenge for Trevor Murdoch’s NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title at the 74th Anniversary show on August 28.
