In a main event contract signing segment on WWE NXT, Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes faced off in a verbal battle.

While the pair both laid out their rationale for the match, it was Melo who proved to be the

Carmelo Hayes urged Bron Breakker to leave all these recent personas behind because he wants the Bron Breakker who runs through walls, he wants the War Games Bron Breakker, the guy who took on Tommaso Ciampa.

Carmelo Hayes delivering a savage set of lines on the WWE NXT Champion before Breakker got his chance at a rebuttal.

In the end, the mutual respect was apparent however the mission was clear: both men were set on defeating one another for the NXT Championship at Stand & Deliver!

After the contract was signed, Pretty Deadly urged Breakker and Hayes to play the drama up for the cameras so naturally their shirts came off and… they delivered a stereo move to the tag team through the contract signing table.

The show then ended with Bron Breakker holding up his WWE NXT Championship above his head as Melo continued to verbally assault him.

After tonight’s NXT, the card for Stand & Deliver on April 1 afternoon is now as follows:

Gigi Dolin vs. Zoey Stark vs. TBD – NXT Women’s Championship Ladder Match

Fallon Henley & Kiana James (c) vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn – NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, Grayson Waller teased a home invasion of a popular WWE couple, a big announcement was made about the health of NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and subsequently a set of qualifying matches kicked off.

Also, a tag team broke up in the middle of a big match to determine who would become the number one contenders to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Four men will get a shot at Wes Lee’s NXT North American Championship as a Fatal Five-Way was leaked by NXT Anonymous on Twitter (and then shown on the show.)
