Ahead of WWE Backlash, Bron Breakker has addressed his upcoming match against Seth Rollins, suggesting the time is coming to move on.

A former leader of The Vision, Seth Rollins was removed from his own faction after an attack by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in October of last year, writing the star off television due to a legitimate injury.

Revealing himself as the masked man at Elimination Chamber back in February, Rollins reignited his feud with The Vision, leading to Breakker costing Rollins his match against GUNTHER at WrestleMania 42.

On May 9, Rollins gets the chance to face Breakker in the ring at WWE Backlash, with The Vision member looking toward the match as a chance to put their rivalry to bed.

Speaking on ESPN SportsCenter, Breakker was asked about the upcoming match given the “bad blood” between himself and Rollins, responding:

“I think this means everything, especially for me getting back into the world title picture.

“I think the first order of business is getting through Seth Rollins and sort of putting that story to bed, because we have a lot of history.

“Obviously, Seth took me under his wing a little bit over a year ago after WrestleMania (41), to groom me as the next big thing in WWE but things went a little astray along the way because I just had this feeling, at some point or another, Seth was either going to turn his back on me or pull the rug on me as soon as things maybe didn’t start going his way, along with his vision of how he saw the group going.

“So, I just beat him to it, really.”

This week’s WWE Raw saw Seth Rollins on the receiving end of a Spear by Breakker after Joe Hendry defeated Austin Theory, with interference from Logan Paul played into proceedings.

The Vision Of The Future

As Breakker notes, Seth Rollins brought him into The Vision back in April of last year, seeing him as the next big thing in WWE.

There’s little doubt that this is where the future lies for a star with the many upsides of Bron Breakker. A powerhouse performer, a starmaking physique and, just as importantly, a dab hand when it comes to cutting promos, Breakker has long shown that he has all the skills to be a major player in WWE.

The son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner, wrestling was always in his bones, yet his focus would be on football until he signed his WWE developmental contract in February 2021. The legacy of the Steiners is a clear one, and while there were high hopes for the star known as Bron Breakker, it isn’t always the case that greatness is passed down the family line.

For Breakker, however, he certainly has found his footing in WWE, with Paul Heyman helping strengthen his character work at the request of Triple H. Having both the WWE Chief Content Officer and a mind such as Heyman’s with a vested interest in the success of any star is clearly an indication of the faith that is being placed on the shoulders of Breakker.

A former NXT Champion and two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, the vision for Breakker’s future can only be a bright one that will shine even more following Backlash.
