To end NXT’s premium live event tonight (February 4) Vengeance Day, a challenge to NXT Champion, Bron Breakker.
After Breakker retained his title in a steel cage match against Grayson Waller, he had climbed the cage to celebrate his on-going reign.
However his celebration was cut short as he was joined by Carmelo Hayes accompanied by Trick Williams who faced off with the champ to end the show.
WWE has announced that NXT will again have their own premium live event during WrestleMania weekend, again titled Stand & Deliver.
However on commentary Vic Joseph described the posturing Hayes as “a road block on the way to Stand & Deliver,” so their feud seems set to kick off straight away.
With Stand & Deliver set for Saturday, April 1, 2023, a mere 56 days from now, we’ll have to wait and see how the feud comes together.
