Update On WWE Plans For Bron Breakker Following NXT Title Loss WWE

An update has emerged on Bron Breakker and his WWE future, following his NXT Championship loss at NXT 2.0 Roadblock.

On Tuesday’s show, Dolph Ziggler pinned Tommaso Ciampa in a three-way bout to win Breakker’s NXT Title.

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that a recent plan was for Breakker to lose his gold to win it back, but stated that there has been talk for him to join the main roster soon.

Noting that Breakker and Gable Steveson are supposed to be main roster-bound, Meltzer noted:

“He lost to set up the fact that he’s gonna win the title.

“There is talk of him going to the main roster pretty quickly. He’s wrestling on this weekend’s house shows. Maybe he’ll lose and just go to the main roster, I don’t know. Him and Gable Steveson are supposed to be main roster bound. That’s a tough comparison because Bron Breakker is gonna make it. Gable Steveson is a phenomenal athlete though.”

Breakker made his Raw debut on Monday’s show, teaming with Tommaso Ciampa to face off against Ziggler and Robert Roode. The NXT star has revealed that he was told to smile more before his match.
