Bronson Reed Opens Up On Missing WWE Elimination Chamber In Australia WWE

WWE’s Bronson Reed has opened up on missing last year’s WWE Elimination Chamber event in his home country of Australia.

When the Elimination Chamber headed to Perth back in February 2024, Australia’s own Bronson Reed was notably absent from the card.

Reed was originally slated to face off with Seth Rollins on the show for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Rollins suffering a knee injury led to a change of plans for the show, which allowed Reed to remain at home with his wife for the birth of their daughter.

Speaking on No-Contest Wrestling, Bronson Reed opened up on missing the show, and how it all ended up working out for him in the end.

He said:

“I was about to have my first born daughter which is a big deal, but there was a chance that I was gonna be able to go to Australia, do the Chamber and then come home and still be there for her birth.

“Originally there was plans of me vs. Seth Rollins, which was a big deal, he was the champion at the time, then he got a knee injury which derailed everything.

“Then I was told you’re not gonna be on the show, we’re gonna save you for something else, obviously you have your daughter’s birth coming up, focus on that.

“I was very upset at first because another dream of mine was, when I joined WWE, to be able to go back home and tour with WWE in front of all my friends and family and they get to see me on a big show.

“But things work out, and things are for the best. I was very blessed that I was actually able to be home and see my daughter be born. Once I had that moment and I saw my daughter Deja be born, I was like ‘I’m glad I’m nowhere else than where I need to be right now’.

“I was glad I was there for that, and wrestlers know our schedules are crazy, sometimes we do miss these big family moments, so I’m very blessed that I was able to see that.

“As time went on it almost worked out better because then I got to return to Australia and go against Roman Reigns, who, undoubtedly the face of WWE for the last decade, and not only did I face him in my home country, I beat him.

“So things sometimes happen for a reason, and I’m glad I got to redeem that story and go back to Australia and you know, Thief over Chief.”
