Following his win at All In London, a new report has revealed an update on Bryan Danielson’s opponents as AEW World Champion.
At All In London, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to keep his career alive and win the AEW World Championship.
On the August 28 edition of AEW Dynamite, Danielson made an open challenge to anyone on the roster to face him for the AEW World Title.
TNT Champion Jack Perry accepted the challenge and attacked Danielson to set up Bryan’s first title challenger.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Bryan Danielson will have some say on the opponents during his last run as a full-time performer.
Despite this, Jack Perry as the first challenger for his AEW World Championship reign is a call made by the company.
Perry will challenge Danielson for the title this Saturday, September 7 at AEW All Out 2024.
