Bryan Danielson has addressed his AEW future after defeating Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In London 2024.
In the main event of AEW All In London, Bryan Danielson came out on top in the ‘Career Vs. Title’ showdown with Swerve Strickland – celebrating his very first AEW World Championship win with his wife Brie and children in front of the Wembley crowd.
Despite capturing AEW’s top prize, Danielson is currently out of contract with AEW and working on a ‘handshake deal’ with the company.
Naturally, given this fact, Danielson was asked about his AEW future at the All In London post-show media call.
Danielson was non committal on his future past tonight’s win, however did suggest an announcement was coming on Wednesday’s Dynamite in Champaign, IL:
“I honestly haven’t thought about my future at all past tonight. So I don’t know what’s gonna happen.
“I’ll be there in Champaign, Illinois on Wednesday, and between now and then, we’ll figure it out, and I’m sure I’ll have an announcement then.”
“I want my kids to know that I could keep doing this for a much longer period of time at a very high level. But now it’s time for me to go home. And be with them.”
