Bryan Danielson Reportedly Considered For TNT Championship Feud

An update has emerged on a pitch being considered for Bryan Danielson in AEW.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Danielson has been considered for a future TNT Championship match. Speculating about the former WWE Champion’s role at AEW Revolution, Meltzer revealed that he has heard that Danielson has been talked about for a championship shot down the line:

“I think Danielson will probably be in a more high-profile match (than the Face of the Revolution ladder match). But Danielson has been talked about for the TNT Title too.”

Keith Lee made his AEW debut on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, pinning Isiah Kassidy to earn his spot in the Face of the Revolution ladder match. The winner of the ladder bout will become #1 contender to the TNT Title.

Danielson last wrestled on the January 5 edition of Dynamite, unsuccessfully challenging Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship. In recent weeks, Danielson has expressed a desire to join forces with Jon Moxley.

Sammy Guevara is the current TNT Champion, defeating Cody Rhodes to become the undisputed champion during last month’s AEW Dynamite Beach Break special. Stay up to date with every AEW title change in 2022 at this link.
