In one of the wildest weeks in wrestling, fans were left with a hanging question – does Bryan Danielson cry at the end of Old Yeller?
While involved in two captivating angles on this week’s AEW Dynamite, both having a violent match with Lee Moriarty and hearing from Jon Moxley about his proposed alliance, the accusation lobbed by a fan sign seemed to catch his attention.
In an exchange on Twitter, Danielson responded:
Quick question for: Was @theLeeMoriarty impressive enough last night to earn a spot in the hypothetical #DanielsonDojo?
Also, I did not cry at the end of Old Yeller. I did cry, however, when endangered sea turtles were burned alive to cleanup the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Moriarty also weighed in, responding:
I’ll admit you unlocked something in me…
But I want a rematch.
And yeah that spill and the clean up sucked. https://t.co/1tMRtM862O

Danielson’s social media accounts have seen a noted increase in engagement both posting and commenting more than ever before since signing with AEW, despite having been vocal in the past about his general disdain for social media, leading some to wonder if he is actually behind the posts.
Bryan Danielson’s proposition to Jon Moxley to form an alliance of sorts, working together to foster the young talent of AEW remained unanswered despite the two meeting in the ring on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
