An update has emerged on Bryan Danielson’s in-ring future, following Danielson’s AEW World Championship loss at WrestleDream.
Following Danielson winning the AEW World Title at All Out, the popular star announced that his full-time wrestling career would end once he dropped the gold.
Danielson ultimately came up short in the main event of WrestleDream, losing the gold to Jon Moxley.
While many fans are expecting Danielson to be gone for a while, it has been speculated that he will return to feud with Moxley down the line, following Moxley’s previous betrayal.
Following reports indicating that Danielson’s medical issues which were played up in AEW storylines were legitimate to a degree, a new update has emerged on plans for Danielson’s future.
Fightful Select now reports that there are currently “no firm plans” for Bryan Danielson to wrestle again.
The reported noted that while the door is still open for him to return, his priorities are to have his neck fixed and to spend time with his family.
The report noted that the severity of his physical injuries will be more clear soon, now he has finished up with wrestling on a full-time basis.
We will continue to provide updates on Danielson’s future as they become available.
