Bryan Danielson has commented on the CM Punk feud that never happened during their time together on the AEW roster.
Danielson made his AEW debut at All Out in September 2021, with CM Punk commenting on the possibility of teaming together in the company during an interview in October of that year.

“Sad isn’t the right word. It was something that I thought was going to happen but it didn’t happen.
“It would have been cool and really fun for me.”
Punk made his WWE return at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 25, 2023 which took place at the at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.
