Bryan Danielson Not Wrestling On Tonight’s AEW Dynamite Due To Injury AEW

Tony Khan has announced that Bryan Danielson is injured and won’t be wrestling on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

This comes after the finish to last week’s AEW Rampage, which saw the Jericho Appreciation Society trap Danielson’s leg in between the ramp and the ring.

Danielson’s regular tag team partner Jon Moxley will instead be teaming with a former regular tag partner of his own in Eddie Kingston tonight as they take on Private Party.

There have been no reports that Danielson’s injury is anything more than a storyline, but we will of course keep you updated with any more news if it surfaces.

This comes ahead of this coming Sunday’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, where Moxley and Kingston will team with Bryan Danielson, Santana and Ortiz against the Jericho Appreciation Society team of Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, and of course Chris Jericho himself.

Speaking of which, Jericho, and William Regal – the manager of Moxley and Danielson as part of the Blackpool Combat Club – will both be on commentary for the match tonight.

Also announced for tonight’s Dynamite:

  • AEW World Champion Hangman Page and CM Punk come face-to-face before their title match at Double Or Nothing
  • Wardlow vs. Shawn Spears in a Steel Cage match with MJF as the referee, if Wardlow wins he gets a match against MJF at Double Or Nothing
  • FTR defending the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Roppongi Vice
  • Jungle Boy vs. Ricky Starks vs. Swerve Strickland
  • Samoa Joe vs. Kyle O’Reilly in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament semi-final
  • Toni Storm vs. Britt Baker in an Owen Hart Foundation tournament semi-final
