Bryan Danielson left WWE when his contract expired back in April 2021, with him arriving in All Elite Wrestling at that year’s All Out pay-per-view event.
Bryan had a lot of highlights during his WWE career, with him naming the iconic moment from WrestleMania 35 as his overall favourite match from his run.
Kingston’s rise to the WWE Championship was one of WWE’s greatest stories, with many fans being unhappy with how Kingston eventually lost the title.
Kofi was defeated for the title by Brock Lesnar on the debut episode of SmackDown on FOX in October 2019.
Speaking to The Ringer, Bryan revealed that, while KofiMania was his favourite moment in his career, the moment Kingston lost the title was the ‘most demoralized’ he was during his run.
He said:
“To me, the whole thing [KofiMania] was magic, and you look at the live events, like the number of shows that he did for WWE, the amount of TV time that he [Kingston] filled in every time, going out there and always having a positive attitude and all that kind of stuff. What a great human being, you know what I mean?
“Like I said, it was my favorite match. I think the whole thing was my favorite part of my WWE career. And conversely, the most demoralized I ever was was seeing him lose it to Brock Lesnar the way that he did.”
