After weeks of vigorous Gator Golf battles, the first BTE Champion has officially been crowned. In the finals of the tournament, Trent was able to defeat Matt Jackson and John Silver to capture the title.
This week’s episode of Being The Elite featured the most impressive game of Gator Golf yet. With a course constructed weaving in and out of various hotel rooms, Trent was ultimately able to pull off the win on his 13th stroke.

The story of the game will be Matt Jackson. Jackson appeared to have the game and the title in hand as he set up his game-winning shot. In a baffling turn of events, he missed the shot from just inches away, allowing Trent to secure the come-from-behind victory.
Of course, the game cannot be discussed without mentioning the third participant, John Silver. Silver was off his game this time, falling behind early and spending much of the game playing catch-up. He was able to make it close but putting third greatly hurt him. In a wee bit of controversy, Silver had yet to hit his 13th stroke when Trent won the game. Had a referee been present to enforce some kind of rules, Silver should have had some chance to tie the game.
