Buddy Murphy has named an interesting WWE star as his dream opponent, following his departure from the company.
Murphy was released by WWE on June 2. He is currently preparing to return to wrestling when his non-compete clause expires at the end of August.
Despite looking forward to the future, Murphy has admitted that there was one WWE talent he hoped to face one-on-one, but never got the chance. Speaking during a Highspot Sign It Live, Murphy noted that he wanted a dream match with Dolph Ziggler, saying:
“I want to wrestle Dolph (Ziggler), which I never got to do, which sucked. We did a little exchange in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal, which I made sure I got. He’s so good in the ring and I don’t think he gets the appreciation for how good he is,”
Ziggler last competed on the July 30 episode of SmackDown, teaming with Apollo Crews and Robert Roode to face Big E, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.
A bizarre video has emerged featuring Big E making out with his Money in the Bank briefcase at a WWE house show (yes, you read that right).
