WWE Hall of Famer Bushwhacker Luke Williams has noted that he’d love to make a return in the 2023 Royal Rumble bout.
The upcoming Royal Rumble event is highly anticipated, with the show being the first Royal Rumble card booked under the Triple H regime.
The Rumble matches usually feature some familiar faces making their surprise WWE returns.
On the Cheap Heat Productions Podcast, Bushwhacker Luke noted that he’d be interested in making a WWE comeback at the upcoming event, noting:
“I sure would, mate, and in January I’m 76! I’d love to do that.”
Luke recalled Dory Funk Jr wrestling at the age of 76 in 2017, noting:
“I know Dory went over to Japan, I don’t know how many years ago, five years ago, six years ago, and he did a match, I think it’s on television. It’s scary to watch!”
Luke was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside Butch Miller as the Bushwhackers in 2015.
WWE is reportedly planning to feature a Hell in a Cell match at the January 28 Royal Rumble event. You can read more about WWE’s plans for the bout right here.
