John Cena made his return on last week’s episode of WWE Raw, and fans are already speculating about when and who his next match will be.
Several members of the WWE roster have called their shot towards the former 16-time world champion, including NXT star Cameron Grimes, who is set to face Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship at NXT Great American Bash tomorrow night.
Grimes spoke about Cena’s return to Sportskeeda, where he said that when he wins the championship, he would love to defend it against John Cena, even if it’s in an untelevised match at the Performance Center.
He said:
“So when I win the NXT Championship, I would love to defend that against John Cena. I feel like anyone that’s in this business would love the opportunity to be against John Cena in any type of light. You can book it in a Coconut show in Largo. I don’t care if it’s on television. You can just do it in the Performance Center, and we won’t even have to turn the cameras on and I would love that opportunity.”
Another WWE star who has frequently been calling out Cena for a match is new Mr. Money In The Bank Theory, who again took shots at Cena following his win on Saturday night.
