This week on Friday Night SmackDown, King Corbin and Seth Rollins joined Jey Uso and Kevin Owens on Team SmackDown for Survivor Series by defeating Rey Mysterio and Otis respectively in singles matches.
Following on from his big win, Seth Rollins appeared on the subsequent episode of Talking Smack to speak about Survivor Series, announcing that he’s going to be captaining Team SmackDown on the show:
“Let’s be honest. I know everyone thinks they’re leading and that’s fair. I appreciate that, I like that gamesmanship. But the truth is there’s only one great leader, one great redeemer and that is me. I will be leading Team SmackDown – for the first time in my career, mind you, against Team RAW at Survivor Series.”
With regards to Team Raw, we know that AJ Styles is going to be the red brand’s captain at the pay-per-view. He’ll be joined by Braun Strowman, Sheamus, Keith Lee and another member to be confirmed on tomorrow’s show.
With regards to the final member of Team SmackDown, some have speculated that Big E is going to be added next week, while others have questioned if WWE could add Murphy to continue his ongoing story with Rollins.
