Cards For Both AEW New Year’s Smash Shows Confirmed

On tonight’s Brodie Lee tribute episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT, the cards for the next two weeks’ New Year’s Smash shows were confirmed.

The special shows were initially going to be tonight and next week, but will now be the next two weeks as Khan rewrote tonight’s to be the Lee tribute.

Night 1 – January 6

• Kenny Omega (c) vs. Rey Fenix – AEW World Title
• Jon Moxley returns
• Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Abadon – AEW Women’s World Title
• Young Bucks & SCU vs. Acclaimed & The Hybrid2
• Jake Hager vs. Wardlow
• Cody Rhodes vs. Matt Sydal
• Snoop Dogg to appear
• Chris Jericho on commentary

Night 2 – January 13

• Darby Allin (c) vs. Brian Cage – TNT Title
• PAC vs. Eddie Kingston
• Thunder Rosa vs. Britt Baker
• Chuck Taylor vs. Miro
• FTR vs. Jurassic Express
