WWE Raw star Carlito has confirmed that he will be leaving the company when his contract expires in two weeks.
It was reported by PWInsider earlier today that Carlito would be set to leave WWE at the end of his contract.
Carlito’s departure announcement comes the same day that it was announced that R-Truth would also be leaving the company at the expiration of his contract.
Taking to Twitter, Carlito confirmed that his contract with the company is set to expire in two weeks, also joking that he has to pay back money that he ‘stole’ from the company, and also joking that he will once again return in ’13 years’.
He said:
My contract is up in 2 weeks. It will not be renewed. On top of that, WWE is demanding I pay back the $ they paid me for apparently “stealing money” from the company. I’ve had my lawyers look into it and after reviewing my footage on Netflix for the past months they suggested I pay them back the money
All jokes aside, gracias WWE & especially the WWE universe. Los quiero mucho!
PS…I’ll reappear again in another 13yrs Dios me los bendiga!
Carlito captured the WWC Puerto Rico Championship in his father’s promotion last night.
