Carlito Addresses Interest After WWE Backlash 2023 WWE

Carlito has now commented on the fan reaction to his return at the WWE Backlash 2023 premium live event.

At the May 6 show, the former Intercontinental Champion made a surprise return to fend off the Judgment Day during Bad Bunny’s San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest.

While Carlito’s hometown crowd gave him a warm welcome, fan interest didn’t stop there, with social media clips of Carlito’s comeback amassing millions of views on various platforms within a day of the event.

Some have even called for WWE to rehire Carlito full time, with pitches being shared to pair him with the Latino World Order.

Carlito has now taken to Twitter to react to this big response, noting:

Well….looks like my Indy booking price just went up!!😂😂

As Carlito has indicated, he’s still active on the independent scene, most recently wrestling for MAW in late-April.
