Carlito Provides WWE Status Update

Former Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion Carlito has provided an update on his current status with WWE.

He was brought in for the Royal Rumble and wrestled on the following night’s Raw, but he isn’t locked into a deal with WWE as of yet.

Speaking on WhattaDay, Carlito said he’s open to working with WWE more, but he’s not officially with the company right now. He said:

“Man, who knows? As of now, I’m open to whatever kind of idea is out there. Right now, I’m on my own. I’m just open to whatever comes my way.”

He was also asked about the possibility of working with AEW, to which he gave another rather vague response, replying:

“Whatever great idea is out there, I’m willing to listen and see if I fit in there somehow.”
