A WWE Judgment Day member has now reacted to Carlito confirming his departure from the company, sending a message to his teammate.
Following reports indicating that Carlito was set to leave WWE at the end of his contract, Carlito confirmed on June 1 that his current WWE deal expires in two weeks, and won’t be renewed by the company.
JD McDonagh has now taken to Instagram to share photos featuring Carlito from their time together in the Judgment Day.
Noting that he’s “absolutely gutted”, McDonagh wrote:
Absolutely gutted. It’s so hard getting close to people in the business, you never know when it’s gonna be the last car ride, the last hug.
WE LOVE YOU DON CARLY, see you around dawg. 💔
While Carlito has been involved in physical segments since then, he hasn’t wrestled for WWE since competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 18 SmackDown episode.
He made his in-ring return on the independent scene one night before confirming his WWE departure, winning the WWC Puerto Rico Championship at WWC Summer Madness on May 31.
R-Truth has also confirmed his exit, with reports revealing that WWE won’t be renewing his contract.
