Long-time Spanish language announcer Carlos Cabrera has reportedly been released from his WWE contract.
Lucha Libre Online broke the news on Twitter, writing:
As Hugo Savinovich has just reported EXCLUSIVELY for Lucha Libre Online, the legendary announcer in Spanish, Carlos Cabrera, has been fired from WWE after 29 years with the company.

First joining WWE in 1993, Cabrera had been providing Spanish language commentary for Raw, SmackDown, NXT and pay-per-views/premium live events. Now set to miss WrestleMania 38, Cabrera has called every WrestleMania since WrestleMania X.
