Carmella WWE Absence Update Ahead Of WrestleMania 39

An update has emerged on Carmella’s recent absence from WWE TV and the WrestleMania 39 card which she seemed to be slated for.

WrestleVotes reported a couple of weeks back that Chelsea Green and Carmella were one of the planned teams to be in the four-way women’s tag team match at WrestleMania.

However, since then, Carmella hasn’t been on the last two episodes of Raw, and Green is now teaming with Sonya Deville in the four-way tag match instead.

The four teams in that match are Green and Deville, Natalya and Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan, and Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.

There’s been no explanation for Carmella’s absence, but Fightful Select has provided the first update so far.

The key takeaway was that WWE sources branded some fans’ reckless speculation of Carmella having heat within the company as being “ridiculous”.

There was no other explanation for her being out other than she’s “sidelined” right now.

Carmella has been active on social media during her time off TV, but hasn’t provided any updates on her absence other than general responses to fans saying they miss seeing her.

She’s in Los Angeles for WrestleMania week festivities including attending the LA Angels vs LA Dodgers MLB spring training baseball game last night (March 28) alongside Bobby Lashley and IYO SKY.

There’ll be no further speculation here due to the nature of Carmella’s situation while she was out between August and February – for those who don’t know, she went through a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
