Carmelo Hayes Announces First WWE US Championship Defence

WWE star Carmelo Hayes has announced his first defence of the US Championship, following his recent victory.

Carmelo Hayes became US Champion during a match which aired on the December 26 SmackDown episode, pinning Ilja Dragunov to win his first main roster championship.

While Hayes recently took to social media to celebrate his win, the new champion has now announced that he will be defending his gold at an upcoming house show.

Hayes took to Twitter to confirm that he will be putting his US Championship on the line during the December 27 Holiday Tour non-televised house show in Pittsburgh, PA.

Ready to put in the work, Carmelo Hayes wrote:

Putting the title on the line, let’s see who wants to ball out with the A Champ.
